The Cape Fear Chapter Fayetteville NC #3473 was Chartered in September 1987. The name was derived from the region that it was in. The original club consisted of fifteen (15) members and soon grew to forty (40) within a few short months. Over the years, the club has gained and lost members through relocations, change of life styles and demise. Overall, the club has steadily grown and prospered with a current membership of 179 as of August 2011.
